Theresa Agbanusi, or otherwise known as Reesa, hails from Central California, but currently resides in the East Bay area. As a braider and hairstyler, Reesa simply shows pure joy with her skillset and work! She constantly expresses her love for the industry, and always reiterates that the industry has given her the ability to express her love hair. Not just one single type of hair, neither. All types of hair! She is thankful to have people trust her with their styles, but she is always open to meeting new people and gaining new clientele.

As the newest addition to our Dogpatch Barber family, Jacob Costello comes with an extremely rare combination of being young and talented. Graduating from the heralded Urban Barber College in Concord. Jacob completed the course with flying colors, and hit the ground running as soon as he was finished with schooling. Most of his schoolmates decided to pursue other careers, whereas Jacob loves the art of barbering too much to give up so soon. It speaks highly of his professionalism and character. Now, add his talent as an artist, and you have a phenomenal, dedicated, barber.

Ben Violago
Veteran Master Barber and Shop Lead
Ben Violago, but better known as “B Smoov” in the barber industry, is a professional master barber with over 18 years of experience. Ben was born in Manila, Philippines, but was raised in the heart of San Francisco, where he learned all the tricks and trades at the age 13, and has never stopped cutting since. He started practicing on his own hair, which eventually led to cutting his school mates just as a hobby in middle school. It was in High School where Ben began his entrepreneurial journey, treating his trade as a small business, only to become the unnofficial barber for the rest of his time in High School. Not only did he cut the students, but as well as the principal, some of the staff members, and teachers. He pursued the art of Barbering as a professional career as soon as he completed high school. Ben is truly all passion, all heart, when it comes to being a barber. He is a highly detailed barber and a true visual artist. Ben aims to give each client a therapeutic and Authentic service, a lifestyle that he genuinely lives by. In 2021, Ben decided to bring his brand to fruition, properly naming his brand as Authentic Fades. His future career goal is to open his own barbershop, fittingly named Authentic Fades.
Ben enjoys being a father to his handsome Young King, Darius, and beautiful newly born Daughter, Bailey. He currently resides in Oakley with his admirable and growing Family.
Efrain Flores
If you ask any barber, they’ll tell you it’s hard to build clientele in your own town, let alone in an entirely new region of California. Meet Efrain. Originally from Los Angeles, Efrain moved to the East Bay and quickly built his clientele from the ground up. It’s a testament to his work ethic. Efrain works extremely hard, and his clientele can see the passion for barbering through his haircuts that he puts out. After he stopped playing collegiate baseball, Efrain decided to hang up the cleats and turn on the clippers. The hustle on the field translated to the hustle behind the barber chair, putting out phenomenal work day in and day out. In his spare time, you can try to catch him on his jet skis, his dirt bike, or at the baseball game cheering on his hometown team, the Dodgers. Efrain has been a gem to the Dogpatch, and he exemplifies everything the Dogpatch is about. Real, raw, barbering.
Efrain resides in Pittsburg with his family and long time girlfriend.
